CHICAGO—Tech Lighting, an industry leader in offering a full complement of modern and innovative fixtures, has hired 13-year lighting industry veteran Kim Kil as Midwest Region Sales Manager.
According to Tech Lighting and LBL Lighting Vice President of Sales Steve Hurley, “Kim’s experience in working with showroom managers, architects, engineers, lighting designers and distributors gives her a unique view of the market landscape and makes her a valuable addition to our team.”
Kil’s territory covers Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Wyoming and Ontario, Canada.
Before joining Tech Lighting, Kil was a Sales Support Manager—then promoted to a Region Sales Manager—for Philips Alkco, a lighting OEM for healthcare environments. There, she was responsible for managing a prosperous, 25-agency territory in the US and Canada.
Kil belongs to the Illuminating Society of Engineering North America (IESNA) and the American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE). She lives in Schererville, Ind, with her two daughters, Kaitlyn and Abby and has coached their basketball teams for the past seven years.
