The mission of the IES Progress Committee is to “keep in touch with developments in the art and science of lighting throughout the world, and prepare a yearly review of achievements for the Illuminating Engineering Society.” Acceptance is based on an impartial judging process used by the committee to evaluate each submission on its uniqueness, innovation and significance to the lighting industry.
SUBMISSION DATES
April 24 – June 2, 2023 at 11:59 PM ET
Reviewed by the IES Progress Committee
FEE $150 USD
Accepted submittals will be:
- Presented during the Progress Report at the Annual Conference
- Posted on the IES website
- Awarded a presentation-grade certificate
- Published in LD+A
- Able to use an electronic seal from the IES Progress Report for use in marketing materials
- Presented at IES Section meetings
