Michael Colligan refers to light pollution as a “catastrophe of waste” where we are sending unneeded light into our space with very little concern. The right that we have to create light in dark spaces is somewhat abused by the excessive amount of light that we pour into those spaces. Colligan talks with John Bullock about ways we can monitor when we are creating light pollution.
