ATLANTA – Pathway Connectivity Solutions, a leader in developing DMX distribution and networking products, announces Thomas Ladd as the new Business Development Consulting Director. In this role, Ladd will spearhead strategic growth initiatives, leveraging his extensive experience and expertise to drive the company’s expansion.
Ladd’s journey in the industry began in live entertainment, where he started his career backstage. His rapid evolution into project management and control system design equipped him with an understanding of diverse lighting systems for architectural and entertainment projects. Based out of Boston, Ladd has established himself as a leader capable of navigating the unique challenges and opportunities within the industry.
Prior to joining Pathway, Ladd spent 14 years with Pharos, a dynamic lighting control solutions manufacturer. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in the company’s expansion into the USA, contributing significantly to the establishment of Pharos in the region. His efforts were instrumental in growing relationships and crafting a robust sales, support, and distribution strategy.
Ladd inherits a portfolio that has expanded to cover commercial, architectural, and entertainment lighting markets. Pathway has, in recent years, focused on developing both agent and dealer channels, laying a solid foundation for growth. With Ladd at the helm, Pathway is poised to elevate its solutions to the next level.
With a focus on digital lighting controls, system programming, and best practices in DMX utilization, Ladd is a seasoned professional with a proven track record. His vast experience spans both sales and technical roles in lighting control, making him a valuable addition to the Pathway team. He not only brings his skills to the business realm but also possesses extensive experience presenting on topics related to lighting controls, system programming, and best practices.
