COMMERCE, Calif. — Nora Lighting CEO Fred Farzan has announced the appointment of Michael Majchrzak as Nora’s new national sales manager for commercial accounts. Majchrzak has more than 30 years of experience in the lighting industry working in sales and also managing his own rep agency.
“Nora is very fortunate to attract an experienced and talented individual like Michael, or Mickey, as he prefers,” said Farzan.
“He will be working closely with Nora’s commercial regional sales managers and commercial rep agencies. He understands every aspect of the lighting business, including the new technologies that are rapidly changing the marketplace. In his previous positions he was very influential in product design, and will bring new insights as Nora continues to expand its popular LED lines,” said Farzan.
Majchrzak was most recently affiliated with American Lighting as national sales manager, overseeing the commercial sales staff and rep agencies. He contributed to product design and development, working alongside engineering teams.
He also owned his own rep agency for 19 years in the St. Louis area, where he represented leading lighting manufacturers.
