COMMERCE, Calif. — Lighting industry veteran Dan Ocasio has been appointed the new director of national accounts at Nora Lighting, announced Fred Farzan, Nora CEO and president.
“Dan comes to Nora with more than 25 years of industry experience and a deep understanding of the needs and concerns of distributors and end users, working alongside them on many important projects.
“He will be instrumental in growing Nora’s national account business and an excellent spokesperson because he is very knowledgeable about the Nora product line and understands the benefits and potential growth for LED lighting,” said Farzan.
“Along with his commitment to customer satisfaction, Dan’s trustworthiness and infectious sense of humor make him the kind of person you want to do business with,” he said.
Ocasio has a long and productive industry resume. Most recently, he was vice president of the national accounts division of an international lighting franchise operation. He has also worked as the northeast regional sales manager for Kichler Lighting and he headed up his own sales agency, Lighting Source Group in Florida, where he represented Nora for many years. He has extensive experience in residential and commercial lighting design and has developed a range of sales and franchising programs.
