ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – NICOR Incorporated (NICOR) is proud to announce the expansion of its operations with a second distribution center located just outside Atlanta, in Buford, GA. The new facility, an 80,000-square-foot warehouse will be instrumental in improving delivery times to east coast customers and expanding on NICOR’s vision to provide affordable and reliable high-performance lighting solutions for any project.
The new Buford distribution center will operate state-of-the-art material handling equipment to support a significant volume of energy-efficient products from NICOR’s vast portfolio. The center will offer same-day shipping to the eastern half of the U.S., with most orders delivered within two days. The distribution center is an important addition to NICOR’s flagship warehouse and customer service center in Albuquerque, NM, which handles distribution to the western part of the U.S., also via same-day shipping and two-day delivery.
