ST. CHARLES, Ill. — Douglas Pileggi, 30-year veteran and former Vice President of C/I Sales of Leviton Manufacturing, passed away September 7th at the age of 67.
He passed away at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 1, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Joseph and Mary (Zerafa) Pileggi.
He enjoyed deep-sea fishing, rooting for the University of Michigan and the Redwings, and creating a beautiful yard for his family to enjoy. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family and entertaining his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years Linda (Skyles); sons Angelo (Courtney) of Chicago, Mario (Bridget) of Des Plaines, and Dominic of Cambridge; grandchildren Zoe, Jack, Henry, Liam, and Dakota; siblings Bob (Marci) Pileggi of Houston, Sue Falahee and Pat Pileggi both of Detroit; his sister and brother-in-law Jacquie and Tom Owens, and many other dear relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation was held Wednesday, September 13, 2017. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Society of St. Vincent dePaul, St. Patrick Catholic Church, 6N491 Crane Road, St. Charles, Illinois 60175.
