DECATUR, Ala. – Inline Electric Supply Company is excited to announce the acquisition of TVW Electrical Supplies as of September 30, 2023. Over the last 12 years, Kent Lawrence and his team have become the go-to electrical supply business in Decatur. As part of Inline Electric Supply Co., their capabilities to service the Decatur area customers will be significantly expanded in numerous areas.
Inline Electric Supply began operating in Huntsville in 1988 and has now grown to 21 locations across Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia.
Both companies share similar visions of doing everything possible to service customers every day and with TVW Electrical Supplies employees now becoming employee-owners, they will be even more equipped to provide that service.
“Inline started as a small business in Huntsville with a handful of employees, so adding a branch that holds the same values and beliefs that we already strive to maintain is a natural fit,” shared Bruce Summerville, president of Inline Electric. “We’re excited to have Kent and his team on board and look forward to great success in Decatur.”
TVW marks the second acquisition for Inline Electric Supply in 2023. Inline also opened a 109,000+ square foot distribution center in Tanner, AL, located directly on the 65 corridor between Birmingham and Nashville to better serve customers throughout all of its locations.
