Hubbell Lighting Recognized by BSE

GREENVILLE, SC – Hubbell Lighting was recognized by Border States with the national Above & Beyond Service Excellence award, presented to the supplier that has exhibited unprecedented support to both Border States and its customers.

This is a significant accomplishment for Hubbell Lighting, as Border States presents only four national and ten regional awards annually.

The Above & Beyond Service Excellence Award is one of four that is voted on by BSE’s branch locations and presented to the supplier that exhibits unprecedented support to BSE and its customers. Hubbell Lighting was recognized specifically for its comprehensive lighting and controls oriented training courses offered through the Lighting Solutions Center, monthly WebEx meetings for new product training, and strategic pricing and promotional programs, all of which have triggered sales growth.

With $2.4 billion in sales last year, Border States Electric is an electrical distributor providing solutions and services to customers in the construction, industrial and utility markets. From their corporate office in Fargo, North Dakota, they serve 20 U.S. states and are the seventh largest electrical distributor in North America. Border States Electric is one of our top strategic accounts with sales across all four Hubbell groups.

Clayton Smith, the National Account Manager for BSE, was recognized on numerous occasions for being instrumental in the push on many strategic fronts.

Additionally, Hubbell Gas Connectors & Accessories was presented the national Market Development Excellence award and Hubbell Power Systems was presented with two regional awards – the Great Lakes Area Supplier of the Year and Tennessee Area Supplier of the Year.

Congratulations to all that were involved in this effort. Winning takes great effort on everyone’s part and it’s a significant endorsement of all the hard work and dedication that goes into mutually-beneficial success.
