A smaller utility company announces it will be ending LED lighting rebates at the end of this year, so you will have to apply for them immediately.

It brings up the question about utilities and rebates for customers as opposed to rebates for lighting distributors. While people paying electricity bills are ultimately paying rebates, lighting distributors know they are essential for lighting sales.

Is the conflict more than what we want to deal with? Is there a better way to handle rebate programs?
