Mentor, Ohio – EYE Lighting International, a leading manufacturer of lamps, luminaires, controls, and related lighting products, participated in the United Way of Lake County 2013 Day of Caring by committing to three projects requests from the Faith Community Church at 5885 Hopkins Road in Mentor. Several employees cleaned windows, painted interior hallways and mulched the bushes in the front flowerbeds of the church.

Tom Salpietra, president and COO commented, “The structure repair project we completed last year was very rewarding, knowing we were making a positive, lasting difference for individuals in our community. After reviewing the various opportunities this year, we committed to three projects for Faith Community Church. I know our employees were up for the challenge of making these important enhancements for the church and its members.

“Many of our employees live in Lake County and some are directly impacted by the projects completed during the Day of Caring. We wanted to do our part to give back to the community in which we work and live to make a difference in the lives of others,” added Salpietra.
