EiKO announced the promotion of Lynnette Schaeffer to Sr. Director of Marketing and Training. Schaeffer will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, training and education for distribution partners, customers, end users, agents, and industry professionals in the Industrial and Commercial channel.
EiKO is also pleased to announce that Schaeffer is celebrating her 25th year in the lighting industry. Her experience and expertise as a sales professional in the electrical distribution industry, her outstanding communication, creative training techniques, and educational skills will allow her to deliver the sales tools and resources required for success as she continues to support EiKO in all aspects of Marketing and Training.
In 1998, Schaeffer started her career in lighting with Van Meter Industrial. After seven years of learning the ins and outs of the distribution market, she joined Philips Lighting in 2005. At Philips, Schaeffer held many key roles that allowed her to develop her knowledge of the lighting industry. Schaeffer earned her MBA from the University of Iowa. She also became LC Certified and LED Certified. Over the last 3 years, Schaeffer has proven to be a leader in the education of lighting. Not only hosting a number of in-person events at EiKO’s Training Center, “the iQ”, located in Olathe, Kansas but also traveling to local markets and industry events. Her experience has given her the perspective required to understand product, industry, technology, and sales cycles, and to adapt this understanding to others in the lighting industry.
