Contractor And Distributor Show: Waiting To Get Paid

Distributors often buy products from manufacturers, and pay within the 30 day period. But often times after they sell the product to contractors, they wait 90 or more days for their payment. Acting as a bank for contractors can be an added benefit for the customer, but it can also be a cash flow problem for distributors.

The payment issue forces both distributors and their customers to evaluate the strength of their business relationships.
