American Lighting Names Director of Sales

DENVER, Colo. — With 30+ years of innovation and linear lighting leadership, American Lighting appointed Jennifer Kirkpatrick as its Director of Sales. She is responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and overseeing the company’s overall sales strategy for lighting showrooms, Proluxe and Prizm Lighting.

Kirkpatrick has spent the last ten years working at American Lighting developing multiple sales channels throughout the organization. She has been involved in project management, product development, marketing, rep management, and developing strategies for ongoing sales growth.

Jason Elrod, Vice President of Sales & Marketing said, “Since joining American Lighting in 2013, Jennifer has been a force for change, and has been instrumental in the exponential growth of the company. American Lighting has had tremendous success in the Lighting Showroom and Custom Integration channel under her leadership, and we are extremely excited to see what she and her team are able to accomplish in the specification channel as she assumes the leadership role for Prizm Lighting.”

In addition to her sales responsibilities, Kirkpatrick pours her creativity into designing the extremely popular American Lighting, Proluxe Lighting and Prizm Lighting tradeshow booths. She also leads the design efforts for American Lighting’s showrooms in Denver and Dallas.

As for her new position, Kirkpatrick said, “I’m excited to take on this new role and contribute to the overall success of multiple sectors. During my time at American Lighting, I’ve seen the company grow into what it is today. We’ve gone from being a small linear lighting company to having several divisions that can provide out-of-the-box solutions, as well as complex, customized systems for both the residential and commercial market. I’m fortunate to be surrounded by so many talented people and can’t wait to see where the next 10 years takes us.”
