ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – NICOR Incorporated (NICOR) is expanding its sales force to better serve the electrical industry with reliable, high-performance lighting solutions. This expansion includes a new regional sales manager, Larry Harmon, and three district sales managers, Ben Sawtelle, Patricia Franks, and David Solis. Along with this expansion to the sales force, NICOR has restructured its regional coverage to focus on four overall regions: Southeast, Northeast, Midwest, and Southwest.

Based out of Spring Lake, New Jersey and heading up the Northeast as Regional Sales Manager is Larry Harmon. Recently the Regional Sales Manager for LUMALUX-NE, Harmon comes to NICOR with 27 years of experience in the electrical industry. Reporting directly to Bill Goettsche, Harmon will be responsible for driving sales growth in the Northeast territory.
Reporting to Harmon will be Benjamin Sawtelle the District Sales Manager for the New England district. Coming to NICOR from Ecolab Inc., Sawtelle is new to the electrical industry but brings a strong background in sales that will help grow his territory. With a focus on customer centric support, he will look to promote and maintain business relationships within the district.
Assisting in the Southeast region as a District Regional Manager will be Patricia Franks, who will report to Bill Goettsche. Her territory will include Northeast Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana. Franks brings with her 20 years of experience in the electrical industry, most recently having worked for Mark Neal Lighting as a sales representative. She will be responsible for managing sales operations for her district by coordinating with agencies and supply distributors.
To help tackle the Southwest region, NICOR has brought on District Sales Manager, David M. Solis, who will report to Ronald Renshaw. He will be focused on Oklahoma and the remainder of Texas. Solis, a United States Marine Vet with a BBA in Marketing, brings 20 years of experience to NICOR having worked at companies such as Vantage, Simkar, Holophane, and Wide-Lite. Providing hands-on training to NICOR representatives and customers, Solis looks to promote the NICOR brand throughout his territory.
In addition, NICOR’s customer service team has promoted Adam Benton to the role of Customer Service Supervisor. His natural leadership and ability to quickly adapt to changes have served to make him the perfect candidate for the role.Tagged with NICOR, people
