SOLON, Ohio — Energy Focus, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of key sales team members with a combined 150+ years in the lighting industry.

The new team of Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) marks a watershed moment for Energy Focus, providing the catalyst for the company’s new approach to commercial sales, and successful implementation of its recently-adopted agency distribution strategy.

The new RSMs bring with them decades of sales experience from companies such as Acuity, Sylvania, Sensity Systems, Pepco Energy, and Eaton. The new team will be working closely with military sales team lead Tim Grindstaff, Vice President, Sales Military Maritime Business Unit (MMBU), Mike Somers, Vice President, Sales Commercial, and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Larry Fallon.

“This team is so much more than just the sum of its experiences, though that alone is impressive enough. Each team member has a distinct and powerful skill set they’re sharing with Energy Focus to help us reach our goals and objectives,” said Fallon.

Dr. Ted Tewksbury, Energy Focus Chairman, CEO, and President, said, “We are very excited to welcome this storied and accomplished sales team to Energy Focus. They represent Energy Focus’ ongoing commitment to being the leader in smart LED retrofit technologies, and their years of experience and knowledge in the lighting industry provide tremendous support for the extension of the Energy Focus brand into the marketplace and will help drive significant growth going forward.”

The new Energy Focus sales team and agency distribution model have been carefully constructed to deliver greater market penetration and amplify the company’s reach into its target markets.
