Acuity informed electrical distributors and contractors that is it planning a price increase to begin next month, as a result of what it calls “significant inflationary pressure”.
While specific price increases on products were not announced, Acuity expects to see the average price increase to be around 6%.
Acuity is generally considered a leader in U.S. lighting manufacturing, and many experts believe other lighting manufacturers will follow Acuity’s lead and raise their prices, too.
