TINTON FALLS, N.J. — The Lighting Design Center at Warshauer Electric Supply recently partnered with 24 local bars and restaurants for the “Stronger Together” campaign, a fundraiser to help support local Jersey Shore bars and restaurants dealing with closures due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
“These local establishments have been greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and we wanted to do everything we could to help since they [comprise] some of our best Lighting Design Center Customers as we provide decorative lighting and lighting design to countless bars, restaurants and boutique stores at the Jersey Shore,” says Jim Dunn, Executive Vice President.
The Lighting Design Center wanted to give back to these local businesses by selling t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies, giving 100% of the profits to the workers that were greatly affected during the pandemic. The marketing department at the Lighting Design Center designed logos intended to boost morale and create a sense of community for both Long Branch and Asbury Park, two local Jersey Shore areas that have been directly affected.
The Lighting Design Center has accumulated over $6,000 in profits from clothing sales, all of which will go directly to the Jersey Shore bars involved in the campaign and they are in the process of handing out the first round of profit checks to each bar and plans to send out a second wave of profit checks in September.
If you would like to support the campaign you can purchase your t-shirt, sweatshirt, or hoodie at https://stronger-together-long-branch-nj.myshopify.com/.
