NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Universal Lighting Technologies recently announced the appointment of Donna Taylor as the Vice President of Sales for the Central Region of the United States, and Rommell May as the Director of Business Development, ESCO/Retrofit for Panasonic Lighting Americas.
Donna Taylor brings extensive and diverse industry experience in sales management and sales leadership, most recently as vice president of sales for a large energy solutions provider prior to joining the Universal team. Additionally, Taylor brings more than 10 years of experience from prominent roles in the lighting industry as Midwest account manager, Midwest ESCO manager, and area sales manager. While in these roles, Taylor has created robust relationships with distributors, agents, and key end-users.

Based out of Medina, Ohio, Taylor will report directly to Damiani and will manage the OEM and distribution channels in the region, providing support to agents, distributors, and end-users. Taylor will have five regional sales managers reporting to her.
Rommell May brings many years of experience in working with ESCOs and Maintenance Contractors, while serving in his previous role for a large energy solutions provider.

In his new position, May is responsible for creating and implementing a suitable strategy for specification of Universal Lighting Technology products in the ESCO/Retrofit channel. He will work closely with the sales regional vice president, regional sales managers and field application engineers for a coordinated market approach, and with product management to help define the needs for future products.
