“It’s raining money!”
Well at least that’s what the customers of both CapitalTristate, The Electrical Distributor of Choice, and Siemens said when the organizations partnered up for the Siemens Power Distribution Road Show and Cash Grab booth during the week of June 3, 2013. The road show and cash booth traveled to CapitalTristate’s Chesapeake, Fredericksburg, Manassas, Gaithersburg and Richmond locations throughout the week.
Customers who purchased $250 or more of Siemens products at those five CapitalTristate locations in the month of May got a chance to stand in the cash booth for up to 10 seconds or more and grab as much money as they could.
“Customers were initially skeptical when they heard about the money booth. They became even more excited when they learned that both the money booth and the money inside were real. It was interesting to see how competitive the customers became as many of them tried to figure out tactics to get more money than the person before.” said Mike Ridgely, Branch Manager of CapitalTristate Fredericksburg.
Most of the customers left the booth saying “That’s much harder than it looks” yet, they were still overjoyed with the free cash they had just won. The customers also had the opportunity to experience Siemens 30′ power distribution trailer which brought technology to the customers. The trailer allowed the customers to see hands on demonstrations and ask Siemens’ experts questions about products on display. The trailer included a large variety of Siemens products such as low voltage switchgear, structured wiring, lighting control, generators and much more.
