ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — NICOR Incorporated announced the promotion of Bill Goettsche to vice president of regional sales. Goettsche has had a long history in the electrical industry with roles such as regional vice president at Universal Lighting, product marketing manager for Eaton Cutler Hammer, and other leadership roles at Square D, Wesco, and Westinghouse Electric.

With his demonstrated leadership ability, I am fully confident that he will drive the sales team to success. His sales acumen and previous experience will be a huge factor. In this new role, Goettsche will be responsible for all sales and profitability on a national level for all products sold through assigned agents. Goettsche is responsible for leading a sales team of six regional and district sales managers. In his previous position, he was the Southeast regional sales manager for NICOR.

Goettsche will report to NICOR’s President and CEO Rocklan Lawrence and be based out of Gainesville, Florida.
Goettsche has a Master of Business Administration in Quantitative Analysis from Loyola University, Chicago, a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Analysis from the University of Florida, and an Associate of Arts Degree in Physics from North Florida College.
