Needham Electric Supply has opened its ninth branch in New Hampshire. The new location, located at 13 Hampshire Drive in Hudson, is a full-service branch which includes a 1,500 square-foot counter and 5,000 square-foot warehouse.
Walter Mycroft, who joined Needham Electric in October 2012 and has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, will serve as district manager. Mycroft will be responsible for managing the day-to-day sales and operations as well as expanding the company’s footprint in southern New Hampshire.
“Southern New Hampshire is a target growth area for us so we are very excited to open our new branch and to have someone of Walter’s caliber and years of experience leading our efforts in this region” said Gregory Wilson, president of Needham Electric Supply. “Customers will have access to our expert lighting and switchgear projects group, $12 million in inventory at our distribution center, 24-hour emergency services, and a fleet of 10 trucks as well as vans at branch locations for local deliveries.”
With the recent acquisition of Laconia Electric, a six-branch distributorship in New Hampshire, Needham Electric has grown to 25 locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont.
