Leviton today announced the promotion of Rob Spragis to the position of Upper Midwest Region Sales Manager.
Spragis joined Leviton in 2005 as a sales professional covering electrical distribution in the greater Philadelphia market with a deep background and more than 23 years of successful experience in the construction, HVAC and electrical industries. He has proven abilities in developing technical training programs for staff members and customers.
During Spragis’ tenure with Leviton, he has been recognized many times for both outstanding key product sales and as Vendor Sales Person of the Year by strategic distributors in the Philadelphia market. Spragis also attained the Leviton Sales Awards of Regional Sales Person of the Year in both 2010 and 2011, and garnered the prestigious distinction as the National Sales Person of the Year in 2010.
“Rob’s comprehensive industry knowledge, strong training skills and ability to build solid teams will be key factors for Leviton’s continued growth and delivery of greater value to our partners in the various markets of this important sales region,” said William W. Marshall, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Leviton. “Rob brings a strong work ethic, diversity of skills and a commitment to excellence to this managerial position.”
Spragis will report to William A. Cheetham, Vice President of Electrical Distribution Sales for Leviton.
“Rob’s record of growth and profit contribution for both Leviton and his accounts make him extremely well suited for this new phase of his career,” added Cheetham.
Before joining Leviton, Spragis enjoyed a successful career in electrical distribution. Spragis earned his Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Manhattan College. He will relocate to the Chicago area with his wife and their two children.
