NEW YORK — The 2021 LEDucation Tradeshow and Conference, organized by the Designers Lighting Forum of New York (DLFNY), seeks dynamic, lighting-industry presentations for the 2021 event.
Lighting designers, innovators, thought leaders, and industry influencers from across the globe are invited to share their passion and expertise with engaged conference attendees. Topic areas include deconstructed lighting case studies; codes and compliance issues; lighting for health and wellbeing; design and construction tools, markets, and methodologies; the business of lighting; and emerging LED, OLED, and controls technologies.
LEDucation is a powerful platform to reach a wide variety of professionals in lighting and affiliated fields. Based on the success and reach of the 2020 Virtual Conference, LEDucation speakers are able to expand professional networks and heighten their individual brands, gaining national and global exposure. Graham Whittaker, Director of Product and Lighting Applications, Zumtobel Group, said, “Presenting at 2020 virtual LEDucation made it easy to reach a vast audience of practitioners. Teaching in this new remote format with real-time and live Q&A allowed me to interact with the audience, regardless of our mutual locations or experiences. Everyone was there to learn, to be inspired. I look forward to returning in 2021.”
Submit your forward-thinking topic to the LEDucation Speaker Submission Portal by November 30, 2020, 11:59 pm EST. Address any questions to presentations@leducation.org. Bring your own inspiration and, for guidance, view the 2020 LEDucation Webinars and visit the presentation archives.
NOTE: The health and safety of our community remains our top priority as we prepare for an in-person LEDucation 2021 event. As the tradeshow industry continues to respond to the rapid changes of the COVID-19, our team is working closely with New York City authorities to create a safe environment for all attendees. LEDucation is committed to adhering to all guidelines and standards set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and federal, state, and local agencies. We will work to implement health and safety protocols and ensure that industry best practices in and around LEDucation are followed.
LEDucation currently plans to proceed either in-person, virtually or both. We will continue to update the LEDucation website with information and resources to keep you informed on our plans for the show.
