North East, Maryland – i-lighting™, the leading manufacturer of extremely easy-to-install, reliable and cost-effective exterior and interior LED lighting, recently celebrated the grand opening of its new 4,650 ft headquarters and manufacturing facility with more than 100 government officials, customers and invited guests participating in the ribbon-cutting ceremonies held at 500 Principio Parkway W at the Cecil Technology Campus in North East, Maryland.
“It was an exciting and deeply rewarding day for everyone that helped i-lighting grow from an idea to a home-based business and now to a rising player in the LED lighting field,” said Scott Holland, president & CEO of i-lighting, LLC. “Our goal is to continually work with our partners and provide the industry with the highest-quality and easiest-to-use lighting products available in the marketplace today.”
Since 2005, i-lighting has steadily introduced a wide assortment of stair, deck and landscape lighting utilizing its proprietary “LED Lighting Simplified” connection technology. Most recently, the company received a $100,000 grant presented by Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley as one of the inaugural winners in the InvestMaryland Challenge, a national business competition held by the State to honor early-stage businesses operating in the life sciences, high tech and general business industries.
