Norcross, GA. – Halco Lighting Technologies® welcomes Jay Weaver to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Weaver has 23 years of experience in corporate finance and accounting in manufacturing and distribution businesses.
“With Halco’s expected growth and future plans we require an executive of Jay’s caliber,” said Kim Cook, President/COO. “As Halco looks forward we are excited to have Jay’s experience managing financial operations and his strong leadership skills as part of our management team.”
Before joining Halco, Weaver served as CFO for Onity, a United Technologies Climate/Controls/Security Company. Prior to Onity, Weaver held finance and accounting positions at Kraft Foods, Inc., Diversity Food Processing and Union Camp Corporation.
Weaver holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from James Madison University and has participated in continuing education programs sponsored by United Technologies Corporation at Darden School of Business, University of Virginia and Emory Management Program, Emory University.
Reporting to President/COO Kim Cook, Weaver is responsible for leading the financial operations of the company including accounting and controls, financial planning and analysis, tax and treasury.
