CLEVELAND — GE Current, a Daintree company today announced the appointment of Donald “Chip” Taylor as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Taylor brings with him more than 25 years of experience in the electrical industry, most recently serving at Eaton Corporation as the Vice President, Channel Sales for its Lighting Division.

Taylor’s appointment completes the management team at Current, which was acquired in April 2019 by AIP. Taylor joined Cooper Lighting in 2005 and held several roles of increasing responsibility, including Regional Vice President and National Sales leader managing the Energy Group. In his most recent position )Vice President, Channel), Taylor took on the responsibility of managing all national channel relationships, including sales and marketing strategy to support the electrical distributor community in the lighting division. During his time in this position, he also developed and managed the Energy Services business for Eaton’s lighting business.
