WASHINGTON, D.C. — For the past nine years, Atlantic Electric Supply has assisted D.C. law firm, Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, with their annual toy drive campaign. The drive benefits the D.C. Child & Family Services Agency and the under privileged children of D.C.
For the first year, Atlantic Electric employees also contributed by bringing in their own toys to make a larger impact. Atlantic Electric donated their box truck and driver, Marc, and Purchasing and Receiving Manager, Tanya Osborne, to transport a truckload of toys from Walmart to the agency’s office in Southeast, D.C.
“This year was especially wonderful to me because not only did we pick up gifts for the kids, but we also donated our own gifts. I love kids and it really made me excited that we could give back to them this year,” said Osborne.
This year’s delivery was held Saturday, December 10. The weather was cold but sunny with temperatures in the 30’s. Collins and Osborne were once again pleased to participate. Atlantic Electric is delighted to be able to play a small part in this community effort in the season of giving.
