CHARLES, Ill. – Bukas Lighting Group (FC Lighting, Paramount Industries, Solid State Luminaires and ITL Illuminations Testing Laboratory) a leading provider of indoor and outdoor commercial, industrial and hazardous location lighting products, is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of SPI Lighting, a leading designer and manufacturer of commercial and architectural lighting products.
The purchase of SPI Lighting, based in Mequon, WI, further increases Bukus Lighting Group’s lighting share in the architectural grade and highly designed and efficient lighting market. “The addition of the SPI Lighting portfolio will provide existing and new customers with a highly specified, architectural grade product, thus positioning ourselves as a leader in this market,” said Bruce Bukas, CEO of Bukas Lighting Group.
SPI Lighting has been operating since 1987. SPI Lighting is renowned for its powerful architectural designs with impressive performances. Fully customed projects are a staple of SPI Lighting, tailoring luminaires to fit the design needs of its customers. SPI Lighting will continue to operate in the same Wisconsin location under the SPI Lighting name and is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bukas Lighting Group.
This acquisition of SPI Lighting joins an impressive architectural lighting company portfolio including: Paramount Industries (established, 1946), FC Lighting (established, 1983), SSL – Solid State Luminaires (established, 2006) and it’s ITL Illuminations Testing Laboratory (2016).
