HOLTSVILLE, N.Y. — Topaz Lighting announces the opening of its newly relocated Jacksonville Distribution Center at 780 Whittaker Road, Jacksonville, Florida.
According to John Pyatt, Vice President of Warehouse Operations, the center’s new location is a substantial improvement over the previous Jacksonville warehouse. “This new state-of-the-art Jacksonville Distribution Center represents a monumental upgrade for Topaz, as we build the infrastructure needed to support our exponential growth and meet our customers’ needs well into the future,” he said.
“The new distribution center doubles our warehouse size, with storage space up to 8,000 pallets of Topaz product,” says Pyatt. “Our customized racking and floor layout, as well as expanded staging areas, maximize the latest warehouse technology, management, and design. And with 19 dock doors, loading and delivery will be significantly expedited to Topaz’s customers in the Southeast.”
Pyatt noted that the new location is in a developed industrial area, easily accessible to and from I-95 and Jacksonville’s I-295, “adding convenience for our freight carriers, customers and employees. We’ve also incorporated state-of-the-art office areas, facilities and break rooms for our employees.”
