Lutron Electronics will be participating in a panel discussion, “Defense Energy Manufacturing Solutions,” at the Defense Energy Summit on Wednesday, November 13th.
Andy Wakefield, Lutron’s director of government solutions, will join leaders from Eaton and GE Energy Storage on the panel to discuss how military preparedness can be bolstered through the adoption of existing concepts such as high performing buildings, micro grids, and energy storage. These and other energy solutions will increase the military’s efficiency, resiliency, reliability, and flexibility while reducing its dependence on oil and potentially unreliable regional grids.
Wakefield will be one of three panels, including:
- Matthew Maroon, Director of Product Management, GE Energy Storage
- Daryll Fogal, Senior Vice President, Technology, Eaton Electrical Sector
Evan R. Gaddis, president and CEO of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association, and former Commander of Army installations word-wide, LTG Robert Wilson (Ret.) will moderate.
