NICOR, Inc. has hired Trevor Shaw to join its SSL engineering team to help with the development of new LED lighting solutions.
Shaw has been an engineer for 13 years, five of which were directly related to LED lighting while working in the aerospace industry.
In this role, Shaw will be leveraging his mechanical and electrical expertise in the development of new MAXCOR products.
“LED’s represent the future of lighting and it is great to be a part of that,” Shaw said. “NICOR’s commitment to newer, green technologies is inspiring. We will have some great products heading to the market over the next few years.”
NICOR is headquartered in Albuquerque, N.M., and has been supplying lighting solutions since the early 1980s.
