Legrand Sales Teams Support Building Homes for Heroes

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — Legrand’s Electrical Wiring Systems and Building Controls Systems sales teams recently contributed more than $75,000 (U.S.) to the Building Homes for Heroes® program during its annual sales meeting.

Building Homes for Heroes® is a national nonprofit, nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization that is strongly committed to transforming and rebuilding lives by supporting the brave men and women who were injured while serving our country during the time of the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan. The organization builds or modifies homes and gifts them, mortgage-free, to veterans and their families.

“It’s our honor to support the men and women who have loyally and courageously served our country,” said John Hoffman, executive vice president of sales and demand creation for Legrand’s Electrical Division. “Our sales meeting traditionally includes an event that benefits a charity. This is the second year in a row that we used a grassroots effort that really got our people motivated and involved.”

Sales representatives and participating Legrand executives made contributions of more than $37,500, a figure that was matched by Legrand for a grand total of more than $75,000.

“We were extremely proud to be working with our entire sales teams across two of our divisions to help support such a worthy cause as Building Homes for Heroes,” said Bob Bonacci, vice president of sales for Legrand’s Building Controls Systems Division. “Our gratitude and hearts go out to the men and women who have made a difference defending our country, and this contribution is a small way to say thank you.”

The meeting brought together teams who represent Cablofil®, Nuvo®, On-Q®, Pass & Seymour®, Vantage®, WattStopper®, and Wiremold® products and systems. Salespeople made personal contributions to “Building Homes for Heroes” in return for chances to win prizes at a “Give it to win it” evening event.
