Cree Lighting has hired Ian Austin to the position of electrical distribution channel marketing manager.
Austin will be responsible for the promotion of Cree products in the electrical distribution space, including stock and flow programs, point of sale materials and quarterly incentive programs.
He started his career in the lighting industry in 2003 and since has been the marketing manager for Brownlee Lighting (Orlando, Fla.) and Lighting Science Group (Satellite Beach, Fla.).
