Burlington, NC – Atlas American Lighting, a U.S. manufacturer of lighting products, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dale Sharp as Purchasing Manager. Dale has held varied roles in purchasing, procurement and sourcing over the past 20 plus years. Dale received her degree from the Guilford College.
“Dale is a welcome addition to Atlas, she brings a wealth of experience to our team,” said Plant Manager Jeff Nunn. “We will leverage her extensive background in purchasing and supply chain management to help us continue to ensure we are ready to support our organization and the requirements of our customers.”
In this role, Dale will be responsible for purchasing and sourcing activities, and leading an effort to create process improvements that will enhance the procurement function for the business. In addition, she will provide comprehensive supply chain leadership and support to engineering operations, manufacturing, and external supply networks with a focus on material cost management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
